Abanqobi is always looking to grow its group of Amabassadors and its funding pool to continue its efforts in making a difference and building valuable communities. You or your organisation can be part of this intiative in one of the following ways:

Buy Abanqobi Products

Our products mean more than the rand value linked to it. All our products are manufactured by the Abanqobi children and youth, and their caregivers. The Abanqobi children and youth continuously learn new skills through the product manufacturing activities.

Funds from the sale of products benefit the children and youth by supporting needs like  meals, books, stationary, school clothes and ultimately improving school attendance and performance. It also assists the hubs to maintain their operations and continue the service within the communities.

Youth and caregivers of OVC generate an income for products they produce. They have the obligation to transfer their skills in their communities to ensure growth in the number of households we empower.

Support Abanqobi by purchasing our Proudly SA handcrafted products!

We can customise products to your company’s needs. For any product enquiries please use the enquiry form located on the Contact Us page or contact us directly for a quote.

Support a Child to Read

Abanqobi runs a successful reading program. The reading program helps improve the children’s ability to read in English and in Klarinet, also in Afrikaans.

The success of the program has been evidenced by an improvement in marks received in school reports.

The program is computerised reading program based on the Readers for Leaders software.

Donate R150 or R100/month or R1200 to help a child improve their reading in English. Ask your friends to donate your birthday or Christmas gift for a child to learn to read.
